Re: smoothie consistency: my smoothies usually always have a thick, sorbet-like consistency (even when I don't want them to) and I think it's because I only use yogurt as a base (no water or ice, and only a spash of juice or milk) and I only use frozen fruit (I think fresh fruit has more water in it). This particular smoothie was nonfat vanilla yogurt, frozen mango, frozen strawberries, frozen raspberries, and a splash of OJ.
