    Man, my total body conditioning class totally kicked my behind tonight! I was POURING sweat the entire time. Such a great feeling!

    I stayed late at work to write my first long piece for the blog. I felt pretty accomplished after that, and headed to the gym with a spring in my step. Like I promised, I had my 0% Fage and half an apple before I left.

    I was a little early, so I did 5 min of Cardio Wave to warm up. Class consisted of weights and more squats and lunges than I can count! This instructor was awesome - I’ll definitely be back. He was lunge-crazy though! TBC Class = 665 calories burned. Feels great to get such a high calorie burn in!

    After class, I ran errands around town, including grocery shopping. I had meant to do my C25K run, but I ran out of time. I really need to get back on schedule with my runs.

    Anyway, I made a simple dinner: Amy’s Veggie burger on Ezekiel bun with grapes and baby carrots:

    Delicious and nutritious.

    I’m still a little hungry, but I think I just need to let my food kick in.

    I’m EXHAUSTED though - I’m headed for an early bedtime. Tomorrow morning, Eva is coming by bright and early to drop off Horseshoe. Then I’m taking her to breakfast as a ‘thank you’. Can’t wait.

    Glad you enjoyed your sweaty workout…I love those! ;) Wow, 665 calories?! That’s quite a bit! Is the class an hour long?

    Justy - it was an hour class, but I did a warm up, and the walk/stairs back to my apt. Ended up being 1 hr, 20 min.

    Caitlin - Re longer pieces, thank you! I aim to write one a week, so keep a look out!

    Claire - I hate/love lunges! I need to do them though, because that’s where I keep my weight, in my bum, hips, and thighs (like every other woman ever).
