After days of hair-pulling frustration and multiple convos with both my host and Wordpress, I FINALLY figured out what was wrong yesterday afternoon. EVA wrote her posts in Word and copied them into Wordpress, which apparently brings with it a code that conflicts with Internet Explorer and crashes the page. Thanks a lot, Eva. She’s so fired.
I’m still going to get a new theme, but if it’s okay with you guys, I’m going to switch back to the double sidebar one in the meantime. My friend Brooke is going to design me a new theme, and I’m mucho excited. Thanks B!
So the rest of yesterday was a computer-induced wash, so on to today! I’ve been really behind the 8-ball this week as far as breakfast at home, today was another office oatmeal day.
Anything fun going on today? I’m wearing a cute sweater that makes me happy. OH and look and the adorable dog collars my friend Brooke told me about:
Precious!!! Too bad Marshall’s a boy. These collars are handmade, you can find them here, and the designer’s blog, Pecan Pie Puppies, here.
PS. I’m trying to get my mom to do a guest post. My mom is AWESOME, and I’d love to hear what she has to say about food through her lifetime, (ie. portion sizes, meal times, etc in the 50s as compared to now). I told her you guys would love it, but she was hesitant. Maybe if you guys gave her some love, she’d do it. Pretty please?

Makes sense now cause I only had the issues with Eva’s posts!
oh my gosh that dog collar is SO cute. I think my yorkie wouldn’t realize how cute she’d look and just chew the darn flower right off. grrr.
i want to hear about the 50s! please
Do it MOM!! We’d love it!
Comon’ Kate’s mom! We’d love to hear from you
I knew Eva broke your blog.
Ok, that collar is adorable. Maybe I should dress Nate up as a girl dog for Halloween, and then I could get away with it.
I would also like to add another vote for your Mom doing a guest post. But don’t let her break it like Eva.
I would love to hear your mom’s perspective on things!!!
I’d love to hear from your Mom! We want Mom, we want Mom, we want Mom….!!!
Cute collar!! Haha yeah, I don’t think Marshall would like it very much though
KATE’S MOM!!! PLEASE POST!!!
I’d love to hear a mom’s perspective on eating! Guest post, please
Glad to see everything is back up and running!
Ooh please, Kate’s mom, you have such an interesting perspective! Pretty please??
Kate’s Mom! I would love to hear about all the differences! I love and miss hearing my parents talk about their old favorites of things or my grandmas old nicknames for different foods (admittedly from a racist, deep-south perspective)- it’s all just so intriguing!
Plus, I’m homesick away at college so you pretty much Have to post so I don’t make myself crazy missing my momma!

Cutest dog collar!!!!
Kate’s mom would be cameo of the year! We’d love it if you hopped on board the blog bandwagon!
Cute collar! =)
come on, kate’s mom! we want to hear what you have to say.
Opal has basically eaten off her collar on two occasions.
Pecan Pie Puppies make really well made collars! I might get opal a few to change flowers with the seasons!
I am sorry I fucked your shit up. But you love me way too much to care for more than 5 minutes.
Eva - You’re lucky that’s true.
My mom’s posting this week! Woohoo!
- Kate
Loved your Mom’s recent contribution–so rich with memories and funny and filled with history and recipes and geography (who thinks about Iowa being along the Mississippi–not this relocated New Yorker).
